Dr. Louis Binder is a certified therapeutic optometrist for the management and treatment of eye disease in Texas.  

   • National Board Examiner in the clinical
     competency of fellow optometrists

   • Member of The International Society of Refractive Surgery

Education and Background:

  • Southern College of Optometry
  • Recruited by International Eye Care after a successful career as a solo practitioner in Southwest Houston and Sugar Land Communities since 1989

Honors and Recognitions:

  • First optometrist to be certified as a LASIK surgical assistant in Texas allowing him to actively participate in all aspects of patient care through their entire Laser vision experience.

International Eye Care Responsibilities:

  • Takes an active role in maintaining and constantly enhancing patient care before, during and after their Laser procedure
  • Maintains International Eye Care’s world leadership by contributing to the excellent care before, during and after procedures
  • Dr. Binder’s experience in the refractive industry helps round out the International Eye Care Team

Outside Interests:

  • Volunteering at the George Observatory, sharing the night with his family and the public.
